THE FEATURES
The clips
You can open and close the stainless-steel clips with a fingertip. DIN sizes and notebooks by many other manufacturers can be used with our clips. No need to punch holes into loose papers. Your receipts, banknotes, letters, sketches, and tickets can simply be clipped inside together with your notebooks, calendars, or magazine. The stainless-steel clips are manufactured in Bavaria and thoroughly tested. And last but not least: The clips can also act as bookmarks when inserted in the double page you are currently using.
Vegetable-tanned antique leather
This vegetable-tanned leather is dyed chrome-free with renewable raw materials and has a matte antique finish. It is sturdy, approximately 1.5 mm thick, and manufactured in southern Germany in compliance with maximum environmental standards. It is hypoallergenic.
Suede leather – chrome-free
Another material we use for the inside of the Taschenbegleiter is chrome-free tanned suede from a German tannery. It provides a very comfortable writing surface and is slightly thinner than our 2 mm thick wool felt.

Format
Size of the closed Taschenbegleiter: M (18 × 22 cm). This is our most popular organizer format. The clips hold our M (14 × 20 cm) notebooks, all standard A5 booklets, and folded A4 papers. Tablets and e-readers up to 13.5 × 20.5 cm fit into the high inside pocket or can be held by the elastic corner straps.
Elastic closure
We use high-quality and durable elastic bands for the closure and the pen loops. Should the elastic lose its stretch after many years, we will replace it at cost. The product “Elastic band and pen loop replacement” is available in our webshop.
Engraving
Laser engravings are colorless. The laser burns into the top layer of the material and creates a precise indentation. All ROTERFADEN outer materials can be engraved. “Picture“ or “text“ engravings are possible.
For a picture engraving, for example a company logo or a pictogram, you can upload an .eps or high resolution .pdf file.
For a text engraving, for example a name, initials, or an aphorism, you can type in the desired text. Depending on the size, the optimal length for your text would be between 20–30 characters.
