1. Right to withdraw/ cancel
If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order. You have a legal right of cancellation and can cancel your contractual declaration pursuant to the following terms and conditions:

Right to cancel an order
You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The fourteen-day cancellation period begins on the day that you or someone nominated by you (not the carrier), took receipt of the item(s).
You can withdraw from the contract by sending us an email or letter (ROTERFADEN – owner: Beate Mangrig, Rosenstraße 11, 66111 Saarbrücken, Germany, Fax: +49 (0) 681 99889204, Telephone: +49 (0) 681 9590502, Email: firstname.lastname@example.org), making a clear statement that you would like to cancel your order. Feel free to use the sample cancellation form below (not compulsory).
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient to send the your cancellation statement prior to expiry of the cancellation period.
Consequences of cancellation
If you cancel your order, we must immediately return to you all payments which we have received from you, including shipping charges (except for additional costs incurred if you selected a different type of delivery from the cheapest standard delivery offered), within fourteen days from the day on which the notice declaring your cancellation of this contract was delivered to us at the latest. We will use the same method for repayment as you used for the original transaction, unless another means of repayment has been explicitly agreed on; you will not be charged any fees for this refund. We can refuse to pay a refund until we have received the item(s) or until you have supplied us with proof that you have sent the item(s) back, whichever is earlier.
You must return the item(s) immediately, or within fourteen days from the day you informed us that you cancelled the order at the latest. The deadline has been met if you dispatch the goods before expiry of the fourteen-day cooling-off period. You must pay the costs of returning the goods. You will only be held liable for any loss of value to the goods if this loss is caused by undue treatment while checking the characteristics, features or functionalities of the item(s).
As far as possible, the item(s) should be returned in the original packaging with all accessories and packaging components. Please use additional protective outer packaging, should the original packaging no longer be available in order to ensure sufficient protection from damage in transit. Avoid damaging or soiling the item(s) to be returned. Please be assured that the right of cancellation and its consequences remain intact irrespective of this note, which merely serves to make the returns process easier.

3. Exemption from the right to withdraw / cancel
The following cases are exempt from the right to cancel:
* According to § 312 g Abs. 2 S.1 Nr. 1 BGB, contracts to supply item(s) that are not ready-made (“off-the-shelf”) and that has(have) been mainly or explicitly produced according to the consumer’s individual wishes (“personalized”).
In these cases, according to § 13 BGB, the consumer does not have the right to withdraw from the contract / cancel the order.
