Notebook limited – CONE THE WEIRD

The features

CONE THE WEIRD

CONE THE WEIRD

Cone The Weird creates complex, surreal visual worlds full of elastically distorted bodies and symbolically charged objects – somewhere between humor and the abysmal. His works function like visual compositions in which fragmented objects, like hip-hop samples, are rearranged. His detailed ink drawings are characterized by the aesthetics of comics, fantastical illustration, and visual codes from graffiti culture. Elements of pop culture meet art historical influences: medieval woodcuts, Renaissance painting, Surrealism, Pop Art, Victorian advertising, and record cover design are reflected in his work.
