ABOUT
Thanks for the collaboration, @conetheweird
Cone The Weird  creates complex, surreal visual worlds full of elastically distorted bodies and symbolically charged objects – somewhere between humor and the abysmal. His works function like visual compositions in which fragmented objects, like hip-hop samples, are rearranged. His detailed ink drawings are characterized by the aesthetics of comics, fantastical illustration, and visual codes from graffiti culture. Elements of pop culture meet art historical influences: medieval woodcuts, Renaissance painting, Surrealism, Pop Art, Victorian advertising, and record cover design are reflected in his work.
The Release Party
Fantastic weather, wonderful guests. Time for sharing. We learned: We should celebrate more often!
It was a fantastic little release celebration here on Rosenstrasse in Saarbrücken. Thanks to all the artists, friends, and spontaneous guests. Thanks to Spaghettina for the best ice cream from Paris and to Alejo for the live music.
